We worked with Ekjati Engineering Pvt Ltd to develop a comprehensive risk management portfolio for the Hupsekot iron mine and steel plant project, covering all phases from exploration to operation.
The Challenge
The project involved complex, multi-phase operations with risks spanning geology, mining, processing, environment, and community impact. Risk visibility was fragmented, making it difficult to prioritize mitigation and ensure regulatory compliance.
Our Approach
We conducted a structured, phase-wise risk assessment using ISO 31000 principles, applying risk matrices to evaluate likelihood and impact. The portfolio mapped key risks across technical, environmental, operational, and social domains, supported by targeted mitigation strategies and stakeholder-informed analysis.
The Result
The project now has a clear, centralized risk management framework that improves decision-making, strengthens compliance, and supports safer, more efficient, and scalable project execution.
